The Greater Peoria Sanitary District met on April 21 and was told GPSD continues to invest in certificates of deposit (CDs) to maximize returns in the current economic market. Year-to-date revenues align with budget, expenses are trending below budget, and cash flow remains stable.

Efforts toward system modernization and billing efficiency continue. Financial and technical experts have been consulted to evaluate payroll, ledger, and billing systems implemented in 2025.

GPSD continues to work on utility billing software conversion. Customer information promoting EZ-Pay and E-Statement will be rolled out soon. In addition, billing schedules for small industrial customers will be simplified for both parties.

Past-due billing volumes remain consistent. Water shutoffs for specific delinquent accounts were scheduled; affected customers were to be notified in advance.
